In December 2021 Bupa announced that an extensive pay compliance review had identified underpayments and overpayments of some employee entitlements against relevant enterprise agreements and modern awards.

The Pay Review is ongoing and there are still payments to be made. It’s our highest priority to ensure that payments are calculated correctly and paid as quickly as possible.
In the event we identify that a payment is owing to you, we will contact you at that time by email or letter. If you are not impacted, you will not be contacted.
If you are an impacted former employee you will be asked to provide information via the Bupa Pay Review Portal.
After we have the required information Bupa will then make the payment to your nominated bank account and complying superannuation fund.
If you are a current employee, there is nothing you need to do. We already have your bank and superannuation account details and your payment will be made to the same accounts we use for your normal pay. If you have worked at Bupa any time after 1 July 2014 and we find that you are to receive a payment, we will get in touch using your last known contact details via email or letter.
In the event that the review identifies a remediation payment may be payable to a former employee who is now deceased, we will work to identify and contact the executor or administrator of the estate and try to ensure an appropriate payment is made.
